The Dandelion Foundation is a non-profit organization “Leveraging the Power of Two” to help women survive gynecologic cancer.

We embrace sisterhood as the most powerful force for women’s health.

We pair newly diagnosed women with mentor survivors  to walk with them from the time a diagnosis is suspected, through treatment and into survivorship.

  Gynecologic Cancer Survivor Tribe Women

Our Vision is for no Woman to go through Gynecologic Cancer alone.

Our Goal is to build the world’s largest tribe of Survivors of Gynecologic Cancers.

 Our Philosophy

  •  Commitment and Community – We commit to helping women survive gynecologic cancer diagnoses by creating a community of supportive women to mentor female patients from the time a diagnosis is suspected, through treatment, and into survivorship.
  • Advocacy and Answers – With cancer comes questions, and lots of them! We are equipped to answer every call 24/7/365 for help and information via live chat feature on our website.
  • Selfies and Social Media! Yes to selfies because they’re fun and women facing cancer need fun. Social networking allows us to reach large audiences to bring awareness.
  • Education- Our volunteers undergo 8 hours of formal training,  and are evaluated by our medical directors to approve readiness. This initial and annual continuing education ensures that our matches are set up for success.
